    Matt is an experienced talent management, diversity and organisational development leader with extensive experience within the financial services industry. A proven track record in inspiring others, developing effective strategies, programme execution, managing diverse teams and building partnerships.

    Matt was the first in his family to go to university, is part of the LGBT+ community and also from a lower-social economic background.

    Matt is responsible for the development of LGBT Great’s programmes, the strategic direction of the organisation and advising organisations on DE&I issues. Matt is also a Board Member of the Diversity Project.

  • Luke Williams (Member Relationship Manager at LGBT Great)

    Luke Williams

    Member Relationship Manager at LGBT Great

    Luke is a non-practising solicitor with a detailed knowledge of the diversity, equity and inclusion landscape within the legal sector. Luke read Law at Cambridge University, following which he undertook his training contract at a medium-sized firm specialising in property and private client work. He has also practised at NGA Law, the UK's first fertility law firm and a practice at the cutting edge of LGBT+ family building.

    As a trans man who transitioned publicly at the start of his career, and one of few openly trans lawyers when he joined the profession, Luke has acted as a pioneer of organisational change and policy reform. He is Chair of the Law Society's LGBTQ+ Solicitors Network, representing the interests of LGBTQ+ solicitors within the profession, and was heavily involved in the drafting of the Network’s trans and non-binary inclusion materials. Luke is responsible for forging relationships with new LGBT Great members and facilitating discussion and best practice sharing within the corporate member community.     Alex is an experienced corporate insight and strategy professional with extensive experience supporting investment and private equity organisations.

    Alex was the first in his family to go to university, completing a BA in Modern Languages at The University of Oxford and an MA in Italian Studies from The University of Warwick. He is also a proud member of the LGBT+ community and has been involved in the launch and implementation of multiple DE&I networks.

    Alex is responsible for the strategic development of LGBT Great’s insights, research, and content and for advising financial services organisations on LGBT+ sustainability issues.

    Shreyas is an Insights and Content Analyst at LGBT Great, where he supports the delivery of a wide range of research and insights projects. Having recently completed an MA in International Relations from the University of Essex and a BSc in Economics at Symbiosis International University Pune, India, Shreyas is particularly interested in LGBTQ+ policy and current affairs. After completing his BSC, he co-founded Economikly, an open-access research platform designed to help underrepresented students publish research and gain knowledge with no monetary barriers.Before joining LGBT Great, Shreyas worked with Ogilvy in their account management department and gained experience at Routes2Roots, an India-headquartered NGO working to improve access to cultural exchange programs. He is a proud member of the LGBT+ community and has been heavily involved in public lobbying and activism for LGBT+ rights and inclusion in India.
