Event Details

LGBT Great in partnership with T. Rowe Price is delighted to invite you to our Bisexual Visibility Day Virtual Event. This engaging event will not only mark the importance of the date globally, but also provide you with an insight into real-life stories, and the journeys, of Bi people. The event will also explore negative stereotypes, including bi-erasure, and the impact on mental health.

What is Bisexuality Awareness Day?

Bi Visibility Day takes place on 23 September each year. The date is celebrated as part of Bisexuality Awareness Week, which promotes cultural acceptance of the bisexual community, as well as attempts to create a platform for advocating for bisexual rights and protections.

Our Conversation Agenda:

  1. What does it mean to be bisexual (Bi)?
  2. Why is it essential to recognise Bi identities?
  3. What is biphobia and what are the stigmas?
  4. What is the history of Bisexual Visibility Day?
  5. What has been your journey as a Bi person?
