In Partnership with Global Butterflies For Global Pride Month

Join us for a thought provoking, high-impact roundtable designed exclusively for HR executives, hosted in partnership with Global Butterflies. This private and closed-door, 120-minute session will convene 10 senior HR leaders to explore emerging LGBTQ+ workplace challenges, and the critical role that HR plays as both cultural influencer and sustainability champion. The session will be co-led by Emma Cusdin (she/her), Director of Global Butterflies and an experienced HR leader, and Matt Cameron (he/him), CEO of LGBT Great.

Why This Matters Now

As social and legal dynamics evolve organisations must prepare to lead with clarity, compassion, and purpose. HR leaders stand at the forefront of this shift, shaping people strategies that reflect both legal responsibility and inclusive values.

This session is a space for bold, private dialogue under the Chatham House Rule, where participants will:

  1. Unpack the potential legal and organisational implications of recent changes for LGBTQ+ inclusion especially the UK Supreme Court ruling.
  2. Explore how to equip HR teams, leaders, and managers to confidently navigate sensitive inclusion issues
  3. Learn to manage internal discourse while upholding company values
  4. Collaborate to define a set of Positive Action Principles, to be published post-session (anonymously), to guide the wider business community

HR Leadership and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

๏ปฟ

This session aligns with the global sustainability agenda and highlights HR as a key lever for delivering positive social impact within business. Specifically, it supports:

SDG 5 โ€“ Gender Equality

  • Promotes gender identity inclusion in policy and culture
  • Champions equity in workplace access and treatment for all gender identities

SDG 8 โ€“ Decent Work and Economic Growth

  • Advances fair and inclusive employment practices
  • Empowers HR to build workplaces where LGBTQ+ people can thrive and progress

SDG 10 โ€“ Reduced Inequalities

  • Equips leaders to address structural barriers and reduce outcome disparities
  • Encourages proactive inclusion of underrepresented and marginalised identities

This roundtable will position HR leaders as strategic change-makers, influencers who embed values of dignity, equity, and sustainability into the core of business. HR shapes the conditions in which all people can belong, thrive and succeed resulting in corporate success.

Spaces are strictly limited to enable meaningful, in-depth discussion. We invite you to lend your voice, share your leadership, and help shape the future of LGBTQ+ inclusion and belonging at work.
