Top 10 Trans and Non-Binary Role Models 2023

Register in advance for our launch event on the 6th November 2023 at 12.00 GMT where we will announce the Top 10 Trans and Non-Binary Role Models 2023 live. 

What is the LGBT Great Top 10 Trans and Non-Binary Role Models? 

The Top 50 Trans and Non-Binary Role Models is a Project 1000 initiative. The programme seeks to recognise and celebrate those trans and non-binary folks blazing new trails for LGBT+ DE&I across financial services and business.  

Why is LGBT Great driving this important initiative?

We know that trans and non-binary folks are severely underrepresented across financial services and business. At LGBT Great, we want to shine a light on the personal stories, successes and lived experiences of the amazing trans and non-binary folks that are in our industry currently. We hope that spotlighting their excellence will act as a beacon for the current and next generation of talent and will serve as a catalyst for industry-wide change.  

 How does LGBT+ talent achieve a place in the LGBT Great Top 50 LGBT+ Gamechangers? 

All nominees have to meet the following 4-point criteria:  

1. Evidence that the nominee has gone above and beyond to empower the LGBT+ community in the last 12 months.  
2. Evidence of sustained commitment to progressing LGBT+ DE&I internally and/or externally. 
3. Evidence of being present in the community and/or using their voice to raise awareness for trans and non-binary inclusion.  
4. Evidence of clear commitments and ambitions around LGBT+ DE&I over the next 12 months. 

If short-listed, LGBT Great will request one testimonial and a personal quote from the nominee outlining why Pride and allyship have been important to them.  

• Applications are welcome from nominees directly or may be made on their behalf. However, please note that the nomination form must be completed using the details of the person being nominated.
• All nominations are individually reviewed and scored by the LGBT Great judging panel based on clear evidence of excellence across the four criteria.
